Streaming down 5/4/2010

On May 4, 2010, we are encountering difficulties with our streaming. We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution. We hope to have the problem resolved as soon as possible.

Internet Stream Down for Maintenance

We are planning more maintenance of the computer that runs the KLOI Internet Stream. This will be happening today - Monday, June 22nd from 8pm to 10pm. During this period you will not be able to listen to the stream.

Planned Downtime for Internet Stream

We are planning some maintenance of the computer that runs the KLOI Internet Stream. As a result, we expect the stream to be down on Thursday, May 28th from 1pm to 5pm.

Stream is clear again

Apologies for not posting this earlier - the streaming computer was restarted as part of a maintenence operation a couple of weeks ago. This fixed the noise we were experiencing on the Internet stream.

Program Glitches Today

We had a couple of glitches today. The automatic download of "Democracy Now!" failed, so it did not air this morning. It has since been downloaded manually, so it will be on the air at 6:00 PM. Also, Sue Dumond's "Gleanings" repeat that was planned for 8:00 PM today got scheduled at 1:00 PM by mistake. It has been rescheduled to go on air again at 8:00 PM as originally intended.

We are still experiencing some noise on the Internet stream.

Static on the Stream

We are experiencing some static on the Internet stream. The on-air signal is clean.
We will post an update when we know more.

KLOI Back on the air

KLOI was returned to normal operation both on the air and streaming on the Internet a few minutes after noon today.
